Creating a Project – Current
Hover in the left corner, Projects.
Under Project > Click Current
Setup
Navigate back to Project Setup as required
Overview
- Total Budget
- Total Costs
- Days Remaining
- % Complete
- Contract Completion (Date)
- Practical Completion
Roles
Add, View and Edit internal personnel required to complete the project.
Note Project Roles (and dates against project role) determine user access at project level.
Contacts
Add, View and Edit client contacts relevant for project.
Orders
Add, View, Edit and Issue Orders (Suppliers and Subcontracts) against specific project.
Note a Subcontract will need to be added prior to raising order for subcontracted work (Suppliers – Subcontracts)
Labour
View summary of total labour costs and labour hours against specific project by Staff Member. Drill down to view both wages and hours by Month and Timesheet
Note only approved timesheets will appear in the Labour Focus
Claims
Add, View, Edit and Issue Claims against specific project.
Claims are created with Submitted Amount and date before being sent to Client. Client will approve amount and the Approved Amount and Date need to be added to Claim Lines.
When issuing the Claim, it will default to Approved Amount and Claim Submitted Date unless Approved Amount is blank. If blank the issued claim will show Submitted Amount
Timesheets
Add, View and Edit Timesheets against specific project.
Note individual will need to be added as a role against the project before a timesheet can be raised.
Adding a timesheet requires an Employment Agreement with relevant components (Staff – Current Agreements)
Note only unapproved timesheets will appear in the Timesheet Focus
Variations
Add, View and Edit Variations against the project for both revenue and costs. Variations to be added with a Project Part, Work Item and Estimate
Variations will appear on the Overview Tab and be available for Forecasting
